How does Pokémon Auto-Grind work?
On FireRed, LeafGreen, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire, tap AUTO in game. Retrofun walks in grass, defeats wild encounters for EXP, rotates moves when PP runs out, pauses before a new move would replace one of your four, and freezes the game with an alarm and vibration when a Shiny appears.
How does LAN multiplayer work?
Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi. One player creates a room (optionally with a PIN); others join from the room list or by typing the room code. Up to 4 players can play, more can watch as spectators. Rollback netcode and adaptive delay keep controls responsive, and you can chat, set ready and pause together.
What game controllers can I connect?
Almost any Bluetooth or USB controller: Xbox, PlayStation 4/5, Switch Pro, Joy-Con, 8BitDo, telescopic pads like Razer Kishi and Backbone, and generic Android controllers. Every button can be remapped.
Do I need an account or internet to play?
No. Retrofun works fully offline and keeps saves on your device. Signing in with Google is optional and adds cloud save slots plus automatic per-game backups. You can delete your account at any time.
Which languages are supported?
English, Tiếng Việt, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português (Brasil) and Bahasa Indonesia. Retrofun follows your phone's language, or you can switch in Settings.
Does Retrofun come with games or BIOS files?
No. Retrofun is an emulator, not a game store. It does not include or distribute games or BIOS files — load your own legal backups from device storage.
Can I remove ads?
Yes. A single one-time purchase removes all ads permanently and is linked to your account, so it carries over to your other devices. Ads never interrupt gameplay.
